Wholefamily has partnered with Bringing the Om Back Home to provide an invaluable experience for babies, toddlers, soon-to-be mommies and new mothers. We are honored to have our in house Yogi, Shana, leading what she lovingly calls "Mama Tribes" in her Prenatal and Mommy & Me Yoga Programs!

The goals of these programs are to provide an intimate experience for each participant in which Shana is able to provide:

  • personal support & guidance

  • a safe space to focus on wellness & balance

  • powerful mommy-baby bonding

  • an amazing opportunity to connect with other mamas

  • the chance to have a life-long community of support

Shana is currently running individual workshops and will offer a full 6 week program in  the fall in order to give each Mama Tribe time to connect and bond.

SUMMER SCHEDULE:

Prenatal Yoga Workshop:  Cultivating an at home yoga practice for pregnancy and beyond. (120 mins) $30

 

Breathe, stretch and learn together with other mamas to be! This workshop is an extended dance form of a prenatal yoga class in which students to be will have time to ask questions and explore possibilities of how yoga can benefit them throughout their pregnancy and beyond. Class will include breath work, asana (yoga posture), meditation and deep relaxation instruction with the takeaway knowledge to incorporate these beneficial practices into everyday life. Mamas to be will learn various yogic practices to help them find support and relief for their ever changing and transforming bodies throughout their pregnancy. Class size is kept small providing students with personalized attention and care.

Tuesday, 7/18 from 6:00pm-8:00pm

Sunday, 7/23 from 3:00pm-5:00pm

Thursday, 8/10 from 11:00am-1:00pm

Womb Sounds: Prenatal Yoga Mediation & Sound Bath (90 mins) $35

 

The gong, singing bowls, and chimes provide a beautiful and deeply healing sound scape perfect for meditation and deep relaxation. This is a unique opportunity for pregnant women and their babies in utero to share this harmonizing and relaxing experience. Yogic breathing practices will be taught with light stretching and restorative yoga for pregnancy followed by a sound healing deep relaxation. Class will include use of aroma therapy with essential oils, energy clearing, intention setting and vibrational healing.
